Welcome to the 2nd annual PhilnLeah Christmas card. This year has been a great one. The many new things in our lives have made it an exciting one as well.

New HomeWe became home-owners in April. We decided to purchase a condo in the same development in which we were already living; making our move easier than some. This aerial photo is courtesy of (or, perhaps, stolen from?) mapquest.com. Go ahead, lookup your address; roofs are surprisingly amusing to look at. At any rate, our new condo is two bedrooms instead of one. We use the second for the computers and games (yay foosball). Here is our contact information for those of you updating your address books (phone and email are included for completeness, although neither have changed): 1807 Aspen Dr. Plainsboro, NJ 08536 (609) 716-9230 schanely@schanely.com |

DogsOur puppies, now approximately 1.5 years old, have become full grown and managed to retain most of their cuteness. Purely by coincidence, this picture reveals something about the dogs' preferred sitting location when compared with the picture from last year (same dogs, different couch). |

LeahLeah is enjoying her position at princeton consultants; she was promoted in July, and has taken on a leadership role in the Canadian National project. She will be taking on a new project next year with TTX that has more intensive travel requirements. As much as the dogs and I will miss her during the week, I believe that it will be good for her to work on something new. |

PhilI am currently teaching a trimester course in discrete mathematics at Moorestown Friends School. For the curious, my lecture notes are available online. I am running an online pollyanna for *next* christmas; the details are here. Incidentally, the data for this feature is powered by WetForm, a tool I wrote that allows the layperson to move paper forms online without the expense of custom development. |
This year has been a great one for us. You, our friends and family, are our inspiration. Thank you for giving us such a great year, and so many more great ones to come.
Happy Holidays,
Phil and Leah Schanely
