Welcome to the 7th annual PhilnLeah Christmas card. When we started making these online cards, it seemed a pretty hip thing to do. Looking at it today, though, I'm saddened; we're still stuck with this hard-to-read default font and a noisy repeating background that would make even Santa ill. If you're lucky, you might see a re-design next year -- a kind of "rebirth", but much less exciting. I guess it would be something akin to the millions of old re-runs that you can buy on DVD (sure, it's a DVD, but that doesn't make the show any less crappy). At any rate, for the moment, you can sit back and enjoy some great old 1990s web nostalgia. |

ViviThanks to Vivi, we've expanded our digital photo library enormously. Leah has been filtering and sending out pictures nearly every week. You can see all 48 of the albums here. |

Dogs (and Vivi)Vivi is encroaching further on Rosencrantz and Guildenstern's couch, as these "before" and "after" pictures demonstrate. And, yes, Vivi is wearing a swimsuit on top of her clothes. |

LeahThis year, Leah began a Pegasus project for Pacer, while continuing some work with the CSX dispatching team. But the big news for Leah is that she will be promoted to director at Princeton Consultants starting in the new year. No more joking around the office for her; I'm afraid the only things Leah will hear anymore are: "yes, mam", "right away, mam", and "no, mam; these comics are part of my industry research". |

PhilEarly this year, I left Princeton Consultants to join Daylife, a startup in New York City. Roughly speaking, Daylife is a news aggregation service on steriods. It has plenty of tough technical challenges, and, hence, is right up my alley. |
I hope you've enjoyed reading about our year. If you're saddened by the fact that this card is wrapping up, you can hop over to our homepage to re-read any of the previous six Christmas cards. Sure, it's analgous to getting excited about a re-run, but, evidently, some people pay money to watch "Three's Company" on DVD.
Wishing you a very happy holiday,
Phil, Leah, and Vivian Schanely
