Welcome to the 8th annual PhilnLeah Christmas card. With the new family addition (see below), you might think Leah wouldn't have as much time for pictures. We've included some video again this year: a short clip from all of us singing "Jingle Bells"   ...   So  ...   what are you waiting for? This world wide web isn't going to browse itself.

In September, we welcomed Tyler Campbell Schanely into the world. He is generally a very happy baby. He is largely sleeping though the night already, for which we are endlessly grateful. Though, perhaps I shouldn't say "endlessly" ... that could come back to haunt me in sixteen years or so.

You can click here to see a video of Vivi running around in circles and singing "Jingle Bells" too. Part way through she realizes her parents have been neglecting their Chirstmasly duties and turns the tree lights on.

Vivi's been a blast this year, chatting and playing with a passion that makes me envious. (and running about with fervor that makes me sleepy)

Last year, Vivi had invaded Rosencrantz and Guildenstern's couch, but now she's running about, screaming her head off, and generally having a good ol' active time, so Rosie thought she might get her spot on the left side of the couch again. No such luck, as it turns out -- Leah's laptop got there first. Don't wait up Rosie; Leah's busy with Tyler so your best bet is to try again tomorrow.

Leah's started her work as director at Princeton Consultants this year. She worked on a Pegasus project for much of the year and is now managing operations for a hedge fund project.

It's now official that everyone I know works in hedge funds.

It took hours upon hours of pleading, but Leah finally let me take a video of her singing "Jingle Bells" too.
