Welcome to the 8th annual PhilnLeah Christmas card. With the new family addition (see below), you might think Leah wouldn't have as much time for pictures. As it turns out, you'd be a fool to think that; we've been averaging several hundred photos per week. You can browse the endless set of albums at Kodak Gallery. (you fool) We've included some video again this year: a short clip from all of us singing "Jingle Bells" ... So ... what are you waiting for? This world wide web isn't going to browse itself. |

TylerIn September, we welcomed Tyler Campbell Schanely into the world. He is generally a very happy baby. He is largely sleeping though the night already, for which we are endlessly grateful. Though, perhaps I shouldn't say "endlessly" ... that could come back to haunt me in sixteen years or so. You can click on this video clip to see (and hear) Tyler singing "Jingle Bells". ... Or at least something vaguely resembling singing. |

ViviYou can click here to see a video of Vivi running around in circles and singing "Jingle Bells" too. Part way through she realizes her parents have been neglecting their Chirstmasly duties and turns the tree lights on. Vivi's been a blast this year, chatting and playing with a passion that makes me envious. (and running about with fervor that makes me sleepy) |

Dogs (and laptop)Last year, Vivi had invaded Rosencrantz and Guildenstern's couch, but now she's running about, screaming her head off, and generally having a good ol' active time, so Rosie thought she might get her spot on the left side of the couch again. No such luck, as it turns out -- Leah's laptop got there first. Don't wait up Rosie; Leah's busy with Tyler so your best bet is to try again tomorrow. |

LeahLeah's started her work as director at Princeton Consultants this year. She worked on a Pegasus project for much of the year and is now managing operations for a hedge fund project. It's now official that everyone I know works in hedge funds. It took hours upon hours of pleading, but Leah finally let me take a video of her singing "Jingle Bells" too. |

PhilI've continued my work at Daylife this year, and you can view my rendition of "Jingle Bells" taken here at my Daylife desk in New York city. |
Ever get the feeling that you simply can't wait to see what the next year will bring? I think I get that feeling every Christmas card I write. It's like every hill is bigger than the next on this crazy ride. More likely, I'm just becoming an old man and each regular-sized hill seems a little more wild. Wherever the truth lies, you can't deny that it truly is fun to ride in a one horse open sleigh.
All of our love and best wishes for a safe and happy holiday,
Phil, Leah, Vivian, and Tyler Schanely
