Welcome to the 10th annual PhilnLeah Christmas card. This year's card gets the record for longest procrastination and least content: I'm typing these words late on Christmas eve. What can I say? Ten years is a pretty long time to be doing anything without it getting tired. Come to think of it, the upcoming year will also be our ten year anniversary. Being married, though, never gets tired. (I love you honey!) As it turns out, some unexpected good things come from procrastination. For one, you get to see a picture of our place on the very eve of Christmas (left). In fact, not only is it Christmas eve, but I have reason to believe that Santa was putting gifts under our tree at the very same time I took this photo. One thing that caught me by surprise about last year's card is that it had no video. I think this clip of the kids running around like wackos and dancing to "Last Night I Went Out with Santa Claus" is clearly enough video to carry both this year and last.

Smuggler's NotchVivi especially loves this place (known to her simply as "Vermont"), and asks whether we can go back on a weekly basis. |

DisneyTop-right is the mermaid Ariel pinching Tyler's cheeks and saying "Who's a little guppy?" Vivi is so excited to be meeting Ariel that she can hardly look at her. Bottom-right is Vivi and Mommy during the big finale of their performance for the other Disney visitors. If Disney isn't going to pay them, I think they certainly deserve a discount. Finally, the image on the left is Vivi and Tinkerbell. Tinkerbell's second cousin, Photoshop, was there too but he was taking the picture. |
In spite of the weak content, I'm going to try to position this as a great online card. We all want to make sure we spend time living our lives than documenting them. And, besides, it's already 2AM on Christmas. The last time I was awake at this time at Christmas, I was twelve years old.
All our love (from the one of us still awake, and the other three of us sending that love in dreams),
Tyler, Leah, Vivi, and Phil
